Refer a Friend: A Reward With a Social Price Tag
Of all the promotions on a gambling platform, this is the only one whose cost is not measured in euros. Before using it, it is worth being clear about what is being passed on.
cazeus.biz describes the Cazeus platform independently. It operates no referral programme and pays no rewards.
The mechanism, plainly
A referral scheme generates a personal link or code inside the account. When someone registers through it and completes a set of qualifying steps, a reward is credited to the referrer, and often a smaller one to the newcomer. The qualifying steps are the substance of the arrangement: registration on its own is almost never enough, and the sequence usually runs through identity verification and a funded deposit at or above a stated minimum before anything is paid.
Attribution depends on the link being followed properly. A code typed manually, a browser blocking tracking parameters, or an account opened days later from a different device can all break the connection, and once it is broken it is rarely reconstructed after the fact. Anyone using the scheme should treat the link as the whole of the mechanism and check afterwards that the referral appears in the account panel.
Conditions the terms usually impose
| Condition | Practical effect |
|---|---|
| Qualifying deposit | Nothing is credited until the invited player funds an account |
| Verification of the newcomer | Documents must be accepted before the reward is released |
| Turnover threshold | Some schemes require the newcomer to place a minimum volume of bets |
| Anti-abuse checks | Shared devices, addresses or cards disqualify both accounts |
| Reward ceiling | A cap on rewarded referrals or on total value per period |
Where the reward lands as a restricted balance, everything on the wagering requirements page applies to it in full, including weighting and the stake ceiling.
The part the terms do not cover
An invitation is a recommendation, and it carries weight precisely because it comes from someone known rather than from an advertisement. That is the reason the scheme exists and the reason to use it sparingly. Inviting an adult who already plays and has decided for themselves is one thing. Inviting someone who has never gambled, or who has previously struggled to stop, converts a small promotional reward into a genuine harm, and no reward covers that. The tools for setting limits and for stepping away are described under responsible gambling and under self-exclusion; anyone who has used them should not be on an invitation list.
Where this sits legally in Slovenia
Cazeus holds no Slovenian concession. Online concessions are available only to companies established in Slovenia, which in practice means Loterija Slovenije and the Casino Portorož and HIT group, while FURS supervises the sector and orders the blocking of unlicensed domains. A referral reward that is refused or reversed is therefore a matter for the operator's own complaints procedure, set out under complaints, and after that for the regulator that issued the operator's licence. Winnings from games of chance are taxable in Slovenia, with the rules and rates published by FURS. Both the referrer and the invited player should know that before a link changes hands, along with the registration requirements described under registration.
